It is of significance for libraries that collections  should  be kept  in  suitable  temperature and  humidity rate  so that proper life conditions could be ensured for users.

 

 

For that reason, air conditioning should  be implemented not with simple methods but under a centralized administration. Therefore,  it should  have  a  controllable system. At this point, collections  will be more long-lasting, and users will have an opportunity through which they will enjoy fresh atmosphere.


Another  important element  to conserve materials  in collections  is to  prevent  them  from  sudden  temperature and  humidity changes.  Atmosphere  in  which  collections are conserved,studying atmosphere and reading saloons should   be   air-conditioned  in   accordance  with   these criteria,  and  for  that  reason  this  air  conditioning mechanism should  be administrated from  a single centralized point.


Air  conditioning system keeps temperature and  humidity at stable  rates and  prevents  sudden  temperature and  humidity changes since it operates in accordance with momentarily measurement of temperature and humidity values. Different sensors are placed  into different  parts of the library  through common methods, and these sensors could  be on the alert for sudden temperature changes by transferring instant values in the air.


As a consequence  of new generation air conditioning systems, it is also possible  to gain  instant temperature and  humidity values in the air, to automatically start up air conditioning system and  to take essential precautions by creating  a wireless network through which wireless sensors transfer instant values.
